Wasn't it yesterday...
We frolicked in the autumn leaves
Laughing and dancing with restless glee
Your eyes were gleaming, so full of life
You were, to my heart, such a great delight
I was so young and Oh so debonair
As I slipped my fingers through your golden hair
Your eyes would twinkle in the moons soft glow
Yet no matter the reasons we just never let go.
I look at you now as you gaze at the sea
And still love the woman you've come to be.
