Friendship washes anew each day,
in little things you do and say.
Love, caring between you and me,
stretched as far as eyes can see.
My life blessed the day we met,
my sadness gone, no need to fret.
There comes in life, those who are,
bright sunshine, our guiding star.
My best friend deep in my heart,
in my life an important part.
We met, danced, stayed in bounds,
forever friends, always around.
Those who uplift in daily drudge,
when needed give that extra nudge.
How would I ever make it through,
can't imagine a day without you.

the rhyming sceme is good and the meter is almost entirely consistant,though a little off for the purposes of performance flow.I think lines that rhyme should generaly have the same number of syllables unless part of an another overall repeating pattern, which is absent here.the words you wrote were very sweet and touching, so I think it was a worth-while poem to read.Good Job

From the very start of the poem is realized that a friendship relation is like meeting all over again each day. One day linked to another day as good friends become better, then best. This common bond between two people we call friendship is indeed a blessing as your words have described so well. And the last verse is my favorite because it defines exactly the kind of friend you are to me. Great write Sandy and thank you for considering me a friend.

What a wonderful tribute for friendship. There are always caring and sharing for friendship will be guided by the desire to uplift one another. To look through the day with a friend who needs encouragement as sunshine welcomes morning. Rhyme is nicely done. Flow and movement is mid tempo as the reader embraces each stanza.
