    Ah, more ironic than funny, more satirical than humor. It's a good dilemma, and would make an interesting debate, what matters more..quality versus quantity...for smokers that might be a legitimate discussion.

    On one side, is living a longer, more healthy life, but on the others it's enjoying life the way you want while you are here...I'm not sure on which side I fall.

    Did you ever really watch a group of smokers standing outside of a business because they aren't allowed to smoke inside?? It's both sad and interesting.

    Your haiku points out the falacy of the 'pleasure' of smoking.
