People in a City

Billions of stars
shining
dying
exploding
nursing
stirring the soup
of life

floating among the clouds
bringing mysterious comfort
to our intelligence

Spinning through black holes
dancing through heaven
spiraling around a galaxy
one of many
all part of one.

Please tell me what you think

I liked the background choice...affected my view of the imagery...as if our galaxy was a dimand vase of sparkling infintence, connected but separate by billions of facets...

This line didn't flow with the rest of the poem though:
    "bringing mysterious comfort
    to our intelligence"
the choice of "intelligence" seemed clunky, out of place...not meshing well.
    Good job though.
