How we started this love affair
I really don't remember
I only know that it began
on a date in September.
It feels like we have
been friends forever long
Here with you I feel
is where I may belong.
The distance that seperates us
is so many hours by air
how did I happen upon you
and this online love affair?
What I wouldn't give
just to see your face
close this gap between us
of distance, time and space.
In you arms is where
I truly long to be
If only I could hold you
If only we were free.
But I will gladly take
every second that we share
and try not to think
how life is so unfair.
So we keep our romance secret
yet every one here will know
with each and every passing day
my feelings only grow.

The story that some can identify with I am sure on this site, and others...It is sad that one cannot see the other....You have encompassed the whole of the emotional hardship that exists with an online love....I will keep this as bookmarked!
