To be anywhere but here
Is what I always dreamed
Only to be awakened
with one silent scream.
To be anywhere but here
I would give my own life
Only for it to be taken
But one silver knife.
To be anywhere but here
No one would mind
I wouldn't have to return
To a family not so kind.
To be anywhere but here
It would take all my might
To fight off the tears
That reached to it's full height.
To be anywhere but here
Is what I always dreamed
Only to be awakened
With one silent scream.
