The rainbow friends

My friend the rainbow trout
always layed there and pout
one day he decided to shout
hey you hear me out
you always leave me out and play
and always tell me to stay
why are you so mean
and your language so unclean
then the rainbow cat
decided to go to the ponds edge and sat
i have heard you out
and i want you to know
your not the only one without a friend
so hear ME out
and shout more often
so we can play and our hearts will soften
So be kind and always know
with you i will choose to go
many people want to be my friend
but you need someone to care
so i choose you so i can show you how to dare
and show you my lair
we will be friends and always know this
even though im a cat and your a fish
we will always share a dish
filled with friendly words and friendly kiss
but only becuase your my friend always
Then trout was stunned and thought kindness pays
so why wouldnt the cat want to play
so they stayed and played and were always friends forever more

    Hello there I am a judge for this contest since the original contest holdfer has fallen ill I have taken over for him with someone else. I really found your poem here to be cuite. I mean its comical to have a fish and a cat being friends I do have to admit though in alot of part sof the poem I kinda stummbled over rwaidng this but you know what I don't think it matters that much because this had me laughing with delight anyways 3 clappys for you and keep up the good work.
