My favorite contest

I have this one contest that I think only I do around here, and 

you've entered it! 
 
"Close your eyes and tell me what you see"
 
 In short, you are to write a poem about the first thing you see 

when closing your eyes. If you see colors, write a poem about 

colors, or if you see a brick fence and yellow flowers, write about 

that.
 
 
 
I've hosted that contest twice, and am about to host it again as 

soon as I have time. I love hosting that contest since you get so 

much different styles and types of poems.
 
 
If you pick my option, I sure will join. I've always wanted to join 

that contest but since I'm the only one hosting them that is

 impossible.

    Very good idea for a contest, my problem is when I close my eyes, I fall asleep.

    Ooh interesting; think I'd be intrigued to give this a go - because when you close your eyes and allow yourself to just 'think' - the most random images can come to mind! i'll keep an eye out for these!

      If you host a contest like that then give me a shout.

      So far, I am the only one hosting these contestes, and I wish it was more who did for then I could join them. They are so inspirational!

    LOL. I do remember posting in this contest and you are right. I don't know why this hasn't caught on... but I love the reminder and don't worry, i'll be sure and use your suggestion so you can enjoy posting for a change. Thank you.
