Oh, Mother of Nature, keeper of light
where do you hide the sun?
Warder of things verdant and bright
Shine warmth on your child of one
Oh, Father of lexis, keeper of time
Where have we come undone?
Mender of space, meter and rhyme
Grant words to your child of one
Oh, Brother of Darkness, keeper of night
Shadows I've toiled to shun
Casting your lot with famine and blight
keep away from this child of one
Oh, Sister of music, keeper of song
Our dance has only begun
Singer of souls, melodies strong
Give voice to this child of one

Wow.. this is really interesting.
I have found such a beauty to your words, the rhyme was exquisite and I commonly dislike rhyme.
Well done!

A lyrical lilt and rhyme, an all singing, all dancing, poetic plea for inspiration to live on in the Light. Especially liked the usage of verdant.
Bravo.
