Standing by your car,we don't know whats left to say.
Inside i know this is over,I wish you would stay.
You haven't said its the end,but i see it in your eyes.
You don't know what to say,even though some part of you tries.
So i say,don't say a word,save it for another time.
I will be ok,if tomorrow comes and your not mine.
Just do what you want to do,i will be alright.
The first time i ever lied to you was tonight.
The lights fade in the darkness,im here all alone.
Made my way back inside and i hear the phone.
The voice at the other end,was shaking and sad.
So i try to work up the words with every nerve that i had.
So i say,don't worry about me,i will move past this.
Dont think that your the only one to give me a goodbye kiss.
i have read this book a million times,i will be ok.
So i lied to you again,but there isnt anything left to say.

...this is so tragically sad! The depth of emotion in this piece is heartrending...I think that alot of people can relate to this kind of heartbreak, I know I can at any rate.
