We're just like you
We look like you
Dress like you
Work like you
Act like you
But when we smell blood
We kind of lose control
New ones must learn
Old ones are very sly
You'll probably never know
Unless we drain you dry
Don't look for fangs
We don't have them
We don't need them
Don't look for bats
We don't transform
We don't fly
We're just like you
At least on the outside
So come a little closer
It won't hurt, I swear
Just a little pinch
No one will ever guess
Who is responsible for that mark
On your lovely neck

This is a great take on vampires! I love how when I read it the tone was a little sarcastic. I also love that you compare vampires to people. I may not exactly agree with your POV but I do appreciate it. Great job! The only thing I would consider changing is adding a little more description. Other than that, this is an excellent poem!
Thanks for sharing and entering! Best of luck!

Thanks for the feedback! ^^ I was intending for it to be a bit mysterious, not saying vampire outright and all, so you kinda have to guess a bit xD
