Everything is fair once you have done it,
One persons' ugly is anothers beautiful.
From Keith Harings subway art, skyrocketing,
to Picasso's cubist monstrosities, worth millions,
Value lies where we place it.
Appealing art can be found everywhere,
Design successes abound in society.
Giving to us more than taking away,
Here is hoping art asthetics never fade.
Andy Warhol gave us so much.
Movies, Op Art, repeating Elvises.
Shoving a warped picture of ourselves
Into our faces, forcing us to look anew.
Here is hoping we can produce more like him.
We have been steeping in hate radio despair
Misery way too long. Time for more colorizing
Whimsical attitudes, no more platitudes. please.
Author notes
This is really reaching, but I do honor A.W. and what he has added to our culture. Takes guts to be on the forefront of change.

brainwave
like it
when it all boils down to it though mw
you either like it or you don't
that's it really
you can make art for the masses or straight
(sorry i'm ranting)
from art school
or pander to the
this it what it gives to me brigade
or you can write from the soul
and you start fucking with it
to make it not real,
sorry about that
i enjoyed reading this
it was good for me
a bit of honesty
