We live in the best country of all ,
and lately we have been pushed against the wall.
Hard working people who knows love and hope,
today finding hard to cope.
Good people losing their homes,
then jobs ripped out from under them no where to roam.
Tell me what does our country expect,
for we hold our vision so very deep you bet .
Our fore father would turn in their graves ,
how they have squandered our social security in such a way .
The wealthy of this land needs to look down,
and find we are the stability of their ground.
We shall not lose our vision of a land of the free,
we know in time it will all depend on you and me.
To elect amongst our leaders the one to see us through,
and if its a lie we know what we must do .
For this country truly cant take anymore,
and we refuse to see the slamming of the doors .
To let us work so hard then take it away,
for the squandering of our money you cared not today.
There has always been downfalls of countries where the rich took the lead ,
Take out your history books and read.
Corruption and greed has a stench all its own,
and 'not from the working class man here at home.
We need a group of us who makes a regular wage ,
those who can listen and look over what is being paid .
Believe you me pork barrel will be a thing of the past,
for you better believe we know how to stretch it and make it last.
Get our country in order today,
not a single dime is to leave it until our people have found their way.
Tax by their income rate and see our country grow,
for it takes everyone of us you know.
Figure out the incomes and lets get it right today ,
Health care let our income tax pay our way.
For we pay 30 percent per 100.00 so tell me TRUE,
WITH THE BILLIONS IN THIS NATION WHY WONT THIS DO.
No more pork barrel to see how far monkeys can fly,
No more researching the doodle bug or the teetsy fly.
Make our laboratories make our drugs so they wont be recalled,
and making out people sick or dieing its time after all .
For our country if you work in congress you better be there,
Or be docked of your pay for we are all aware.
No more vacations until business is done,
and believe you me once again our country will again be number 1.

Ranting and I feel I have every right to for what I have heard and witnessed on TV on whats going on it makes me ill for I know before the mifddle of this next year I myself will have to rent to get by and as far as food it will be sparse and no health insurance . The land of the free has turned into the land of the need will we be able to bring it back I say yes but it will take you and me to se it become strong again

Life here in this country is becoming more dominant in
greed than for the needy and all that needs repaired, I only wished the rich could see what they are doing to our great country, by their domineering tactics and cheating and stealing!! we as the poor pay dearly for what they shove into our faces, nice piece to really think on...good luck

OH SO TRUE!!!!!
Here in my state there is an investigation going on investigating our representatives for their needless spending, or should I say misappropriated funds. I truly believe (at least in our state) that our representatives are overpaid and underworked! I believe I am right as I say ours meet the least amount of time than any other in the union. Ours just got over having a two month vaction and was already complaining they did not have enough time to vote on immediate issues before the deadline. I would say to them I wish I got that much vacation time!
