I asked him to Prom,
and that was that.
but the prom lacked a few key things,
that Rythm and Blues kind of feel
completely riuned the proms appeal.
So we went home that night disappointed,
and we went, he and I
Dancing under a starry moonlight laden sky
He held me close and kissed my lips,
Heaven shot through my fingertips.
His Eyes, dark as coal,
Looked beyond my tourtured soul
and found something , I couldn't control.
Love burst forth from my eyes and he saw
to his surprise, tears of joy.
when asked what was wrong,
I wanted to laugh, I shook my head
and pulled him into snyc
His hands lightly on my waist
swaying to the music,
in good taste
He whispered almost silently to me
the words I so despratley needed to hear,
" My Love, You complete me I love you I wont let you go"

My love you complete me, and I won't let you go. To be in love for the first time once again...especially on prom night! For so many those are cherished moments in our lives, but as time goes on...some not. Very nice poem. ~Sie
