Love- the Light Within

Love, the light within plays,
Give and take all the way.
Guides the flame once began.
From the sources of that day.
Who guides us and which way.

It takes two to make it go.
Two with a blessed goal.
Give and take all the way.
This is each and every day.
Never let it slip away.

Kindness must slip in.
Keep love alive when
Things seem a bit thin.
Dish it out and pull it in.
Give and take all the way

Through the year
One will wonder.
Where the time went
When was the thunder.
Always, Give and take all the way.

Hi mac. I came back to read your lovely poem again. Oh by the way, whether you began, begin or begun, you started. I like your poem just the way it is. Katie

It's all about the give and take. And being willing to give more than you are willing to take. You did a good job with this Mac. Words of wisdom and truth! Good luck in the contest.

Mac your poem is beautiful and oh so true. One must give and take, sometimes give a little more than take. It all balances it'self out. I hope everyone reads this. Katie

I realize you were trying to make the thrid line rhyme, but having the tense be so off is extremely distracting. The sentiment is good though.
