Learn who I am by paying rapt attention
Then discard most of what you've learned
I am the conservative Bohemian
Painting walls in wild colors in my heart
Housed in a world that loves beige
Nothing is amiss despite my expression
My smile lives inside
I like Blonde kinky hair
And tatoos on beauty queens
I drink pie flavored drinks
But I won't eat the pie
I jump on the lap of the disinterested
While I ignore those that clamor after me
I feel my words
While I speak textures

Your use of poetic device is great. You've included such things as the oxymoron, hyperbole, metaphor (wonderful ones), and some great imagery! So much depth to this, as well. Absolutely LOVED the last two lines!! Stunning work here! Thanks so much for entering, and best of luck to you!

hammer-toned, blazing with glory on a pin-striped elbow. self definition is an inalienable solution to lip-synching distinctions pirouetting in illusory systems of debonair encryption - despite expression.
