They wheel me in
Place my carcas upon the table
Plug their tubes into my flesh
Draining my dead body to an empty husk
Sewing my mouth and eyes shut
Pumping me to the brim with fermaldahyde
Preserving my decaying flesh for the worms
Removing my brain, heart and lungs
Grotesquely displaying and weighting my organs
Examining and bagging for disgusting disposal
Laying my body in a box to be buried in the ground
Forever forgotten by the world
What did you think

Hate it, but not the poem!
I hate the fact that that is the ending to a human life. Sucks big ass! It really upsets me....but a great poem nevertheless. Good job on this and your other capturings of the rituals that are Disgusting Humanity. -
wow a brilliant poem of the undertakers day getting the body ready for the underworld to be forever forgotton
