Invocations Of Baptism

I am your other sex; girl with the brown curls lingering upon the last doubts of destiny.See the white tiles beneath your feet - horizon within arms' length - and I will make them into experiences.Gallant experiences, shallow depths where irises wither, how is the sun today?

What dies in the night is reborn in your yawn.Just as a sould dies in the quiet night, it awakens again, in morning, opening the eyes without raising the eye-lids, speaking to divinity with a still tongue. Is this the wheel they speak of?

The thought you've tried to hide, is a Viking with a Moors' axe: its voice is silent, but its arms are strings reaching out to your napping lips, moving them to their rhtymns.Rhythmns obscured by careers, in tandem with the stars, and you see what you forgot to be tired of.

To the right of you, a second hand is haloed by eternity; to your left the hour embraces the laurels of hell.Do not move to either side: stay in this purgatory of un-movement and wait for the messenger of lillies to take you away from this shattering threesome.

"There is more?" Of course! My voice proves it, and is echo will show you.

I am the other sex.Look up, do you see the full-moon glowing? Do you see it is day? That is what we are, sun and moon sharing one sky.Sometimes they share it as friends, others as intimates. When they share it as intimates I shall pinch you with fingers of honey on your inner thighs. You will remove the mist clouding the faces of love's candidates, and chose the one you will dream of.When they share it as friends I shall give you a kiss without air, on the nape of your neck. You will then plot destinies for the disciples and prophets you've chosen.

I am your baptism.I descended upon you, not through water, but through the slow dance of time, dancing upon the altar of your flesh.Don't pray for me, your tears and smiles are enough, just listen:

I am with you
When the sun rises
I am with you
When the sun sets.

I am with you
When the moon is a princess
I am with you
When the moon is a queen.
