Remember to Forget
In times pain and emotional strain
We may wallow with regret
But to preserve our spirits burning bright
We must remember to forget
Take not wrong the words I speak
To forget is not a sin
But a means to remember all that's good
And cleanse yourself within
For hardships ahead both narrow and steep
Are simple to the foolish pretender
But the wise will set behind the memory
Forgetting to remember
A coward's move, yes it may seem
To the untrained naked eye
But clever it is to endure the blows
Persevering while others die
And stronger you'll be to make it through
To dusk and unto night
As you rest your weary head and mind
Craving the coming light
Once again the test resumes
When the night must turn to day
Bringing forth the pain suppressed
Through tears so spread a'stray
Gather your wits, my troubled love
Only you can make the change
To restore the life before this pain
As I watch from out of range
No longer a girl, now a woman
Facing the world ahead
Resilient and brave, on the road you pave
Despite the missing and dead
Go forth my love, and fight with heart
Until the sun has set
Taking heed of my words of advice
Remember to forget...

HA! It finally loaded. So, as I said in the blahoo--YER BLAHOO!--you did really well with the rhyme. It was soft and unforced, flowed well. Especially great considering it's not your forte.
Cheers!
