He's not generally a bad guy.
kinda sweet and nice and considerate
when he has to be,
just enough to be seen
as a good kid

but then he's got this
sort of sadistic side.
and not just bully kinda sadistic
but the kind that loves
to hurt your mind.

He's the kind of boy who
enjoys taking sharp objects
to his beloved's skin.

he uses his "manners" and
"morals" as a "reason"
to do that sort of thing

And there's really no offense
or even defense against that.

none

Especially with my adherence
to my stupid fucking principles.


yeah

the only real choices are
bitch up to it or
confront and
he's not above flatting
your face out

Yeah, I know.

And it doesn't seem that
his hatred will abate, ever.

this was inspired by a conversation with a friend of mine about a friend or ours... Friend A is being antagonized by friend B incessantly. We talk about why and what, if anything there is to do about it...
Dedication: To K.J. and R.B. K.J. for being his own little pansy ass and taking what R.B. is dishing like a true bitch. and for R.B. for being a complete ass for little to no reason to absolutely everyone around him.

    This is awesome!! Totally and completely describes some people I've dealt with, and in a way I could never. (I used to try to put my finger on exactly what they were like, and could never come close to wording it this well, even in my mind.) Nice write. This poem deserves a few more clappies.

    I have a friend that is a lot like your R.B. He recently tried to kill himself. He's interesting, I guess. Sadistic in every sense of the word, but somehow passive at the same time. Everyone manages to love and hate him. This poem has a wonderful flow of emotion, and it really conveys to the reader exactly how you feel. Great write! I hope that your friend comes around before he really screws up.
