Good for him and good for you. Although, from time to time I hope you both indulge in a bit of fantasy together. It works well when two people are in total agreement.
Loved the brevity and the sense it made with so few words. BTW! I love the work of Carlos Williams!

It's ok you are suppose to give out critiques.
This was one of the poems I wrote in the journalism/creative writing class. It's suppose to be short and sarcastic...it is called imagist poetry. It starts one way and ends another....I do need to add more imagery though.
And there is no need for a rhyme scheme.
