Justice cold for lies uncouth.
Bring them forth to Lady’s light,
See them shake and scream in fright.
Slitting skin to see beneath,
Stripping flesh and pulling teeth.
Gouge an eyeball, see your fear,
Sharpen pencils in your ear
Feel her wrath and know her pain,
Humble in her darkest reign.
Stitching lips like socks she’ll darn,
Winding veins like balls of yarn.
Crimson blood from wrists and throat,
Wear your skin as fleshy coat.
One by one she’ll hammer toes,
Cut your chest and ribs expose,
Cracking each to open wide,
And see your beating heart inside.
Hand slides in, you feel her grasp,
Squeezes soft, to hear you gasp.
Filled with horror, filled with dread,
Still alive, you should be dead.
Pain that begs the killing blow,
And in her eyes you see she knows.
So she laughs and walks away,
And leaves you with the rats to play.
Nibbling, biting, nerves are raw,
And lady D is craving more.
Silent screams and ears deaf,
So maybe now you’ll RTF…
I won’t be making that mistake again…………..
Author notes
Kind of an Ode, trying to emulate style in homage to my great friend & fellow writer in Darkness, Lady Dementia...
Enjoy..........

This is amazing, one of the best poems I've read in the contest. I really like the ode style now, might try one out. But, back to this poem, it's the perfect tone and oh so macabre, I love it. Thanks for entering and best of luck.

What a great tribute to your friend. I shall go check out some of her stuff for certain, if her style is as dark as that!

Yet another great piece. You, sir, are costing me a fortune in clappy things!

Awesome tribute to the Lady of the darkness..
Makes for a scary read, full blown imagery as if she was writing her classic eerie poems.

Dark hallways within the helix of hell, torture 'til death is a blessed relief, oh my an ode and homage to sadistic whiles and whims that simmer under this muses' inspirations skin. The rhyme was fine as was the presentation, could also work aswell in couplet form if you wanted to add a sense of closeness.

Very Dark
This poem reads like a murder sceen, Very gory, dark,
depressing I get the feeling of Jason or Fredi Kruger taking a girl out on a date and they went to a movie but later on the girl became the main entertainment lol lol...
