Despierta, Corazón Dormido

Solo puedo esperar
hasta mi corazón se despierta

Dormido en la noche
Con las estrellas de sueños falladas,

Mi corazón solamente espera
Para un milagro en esta tierra.

Author notes

I wrote it in Spanish because it's meaning is conveyed easier, and it doesn't sound as right in English. Anyway, here's the translation:
"Awaken, Fallen Heart"

"I can only wait Until my heart awakens. Fallen in the night, With the stars of failed dreams, My heart can only wait For a miracle in/on this earth."

    It's a beautiful poem. You're right, it sounds better in Spanish.
