a man kneels in a clearing no paths to be seen
tears welling up in his eyes
his pants are torn he doesn't even notice
the dirt mingled with blood on his knees
everywhere hes steered his life turned him wrong
he doesn't want someone to do it for him
he just wants a little help
he wants to be told
he raises his hands and yells
please just tell me
tell me what to to...
...and ill do it
he says it with a sigh and slumps
...beaten...
his pride is gone
in its place
a small sliver of hope
illuminating his way out of the clearing
he stands up and walks away
