Pain's Lair

The End of Every Bleeding soul
Confides in the veil of a black hole
Forbidding any light to shine upon
the face of pain which has been put on

So full of living fear
of being sentenced
To a death so near

Replacing every tear of joy with that of pain
On the pillow of hollowness rested its power
only to drive all people insane
with a restricted mind locked in a high tower

My heart beats to the rhythm of pain
in its lair,hiding in vain

Author notes

this is about the pain everyone feels...and how it resides in every nook consisting of no joy or peace!!

I love your topic; I know this kind of pain as does everyone who has ever felt depressed or had that black hole in them. You related these emotions wonderfully and in great flow with imagery.

    Thanks for entering!
