Hesitating in a sepia dimension,
Violin in hand,
A lost hope's barren journey.

Great poem for being so short! Imagery is great and fits the picture perfectly! You never fail to please. I love this poem and how you describe hope as barren because the journey towards a goal is often hard and can seem like a person is traveling forever. Anyway, great job and good luck in the contest!

wow, this really does create a lot of imagery for such a short amount of words!
I am not as good a poet, as I seem unable to write such beautiful words in such a short write. I think you have definetally captured the essence of the picture, and given it a emotional feel. This picture could have been used to write something that made it feel less emotional, but it would not have been as good.
Well done,
oh and good luck in the contest you entered.

Oh thanks so much, I did work hard to get so much expression into so few words. It was tough I will admit, and you are a great poet and don't ever doubt that!
