How true! You hit it hard and said so much in brevity...strong and sad reality for many of us...maybe some day we shall get out the shoves and dig them up again...
    Best to you!

The only place a woman should ever buy her heart is in the heart of another be it partner or child, for there it still has room to grow.

One must have been hurt very deeply when one reaches the point where burial is the preferred way to emtombed emotions. Obviously this person does not want to resurrect love as there is no tombstone to mark the grave. What a strong powerfull poem packaged in such few words, it's like a nuclear reaction while reading, fierce, very powerfull and devastating.....

    true

I know a couple, God forbid I should be one.
Maybe we can check back in a couple of years and see what she has learned in solitude.

The remains of love exhumed lie dry and trapped in the mummified heart. How much better the full and beating heart, blood of life and love coursing through it.

Beautiful sad write. It carries a little of the frost of autumn to come (well, at least to come for us here in more northern latitudes).

Excellent, as always. You never write them any other way!

So it is true...BUT!!! the heart never stops yearning for or needing love.  It is my experience that love finds all who embrace it openly, even those who thought their heart would beat no more...like myself. A beautiful, yet sad sediment.

    Be well,

    a heart should live,
    be able to give ,love
    a heart should grow,
so all will know, it will recieve love

    I Stand
    and demand
    "It shall not be"
    That love will wither
    Because of me.
