    Hey Andrew... I'm glad I dropped by to read this. A brilliant haiku you have penned here. The shadows rapidly lengthing as the sun sets is a fantastic image. It's a moment you can observe and one you've captured perfectly.

    perhaps 'as the sun sets' as the last line?
    or just 'the sun sets'. Also I'd leave off the '--'?
