Dancing overhead a mantle so bold
In colours resplendent against blue skies
This message of life for us to behold
Seasons always changing before our eyes.
A signal from God that life will renew
Oh how splendidly creation unfolds
Cherish this richness of majestic hue
Many reds, oranges and burnished golds.
Such an enchanting stage to tread life's road
Giving warmth to hearts that are cold and dark
Autumn's heavenly colours now explode
For souls that are heavy, God gives a spark.
Gateway to paradise, follow with hope
All of life's trials in sureness we'll cope.
