Glancing toward the heavens
I heave a great sigh
Wondering if baby Chloe
Has learned how to fly
She was so tiny
A mere seven pounds
Life has been difficult
With out her around
Inside heaven’s playground
With the sun shinning bright
I picture her golden wings
Reflecting rays of light
Made of pure gold
About the size of my hand
Holding her afloat
Before she could stand
A perfect angel’s halo
Encircles her sweet head
Serving to remind me
She isn’t really dead
Her life in heaven
Is better by far
Than all the treasures
On earth we acquire
I heave a great sigh
Wondering if baby Chloe
Has learned how to fly
She was so tiny
A mere seven pounds
Life has been difficult
With out her around
Inside heaven’s playground
With the sun shinning bright
I picture her golden wings
Reflecting rays of light
Made of pure gold
About the size of my hand
Holding her afloat
Before she could stand
A perfect angel’s halo
Encircles her sweet head
Serving to remind me
She isn’t really dead
Her life in heaven
Is better by far
Than all the treasures
On earth we acquire

I had to choke back the tears of emotion from this piece, to lose life's potential is just too hard to imagine. You show great courage being able to write this piece and show such beautiful love and emotion for your gorgeous little grand daughter Chloe. I wish you and your family all the strength in the world.

This poem is the sweetest thing I have ever read!
I had a baby boy two years ago, and he was 23 months old, he was with my father, at his house because I was at school. I remember being checked out of school and rushing to the hospital, no one would tell me what was wrong. When we got there the doctor came out and told me that my baby boy was gone, he had been hit by a car.

i am so so sorry for your families loss, you are so brave to write this beautiful poem, and you are right of course she is in a far far better place, I guess God must really have needed a precious angel, I think some little ones are perhaps too good for this earth may God bless you and yours littlefishone
