I thought we were long time friends
Now our relationship has come to an end
Your other best friend stole from me
Whatever you say you knew it was she
You didn’t bother to tell me all the facts
Your ignorance was all just an unforgivable act
Tell me how you could not, did not know
How your own thieving wife tends to flow
I’m sure for her it wasn’t the first time
Only this time it was something of mine
Then to talk to me about Christian charity
Man you haven’t seen the other side of me
I’ll ask God for forgiveness as I tarry long
For when I see her we’re going to right this wrong
Eventually I will forgive but never will I forget
That you took her side when she turned to thief
A six year long friendship bites the dust
With people I knew and thought I could trust
But greed took over and now we’re through
Your special so called “lady” stole our friendship too
