Tapping My Pen.

Tapping my pen,
To get some semblance of reality-
The touch upon my palm,
Flicking against my hand.
Tapping my pen,
Leaning my head back,
Breaking the boredom,
Releasing monotony,
Tapping my pen.
To wake me up,
To feel I am real,
To notice myself,
Tapping my pen.

Author notes

Yeah, boredom, penified.

I love poetry like this, such a simple thing, but you bring meaning to it so perfectly. I love
    To feel I am real,
    To notice myself,
    Tapping my pen.
Sometime you get to a point where you have to do something to remember you still exist! Boredum can really get to you! especially alone
