The picture perfect family
strolled the quay together
united in one heart
committed to forever
father mother sister brother
swearing not to part
The years swirled around them
life tossed them to and fro
with each passing of the seasons
the children they did grow
The picture perfect family
now cast upon seperate shores
barely send a greeting
and holidays are no more
The business of living
has set them all apart
the steps taken down the road
dictated by each life's chart

now four seperate hearts
