Why such confusion,
For such simple things?
Love is not mistaken
For once the bird has taken flight
It is aloft and there is
No denying such a simply elegant sight.
How, Heart, could you choose him?
Knowing what you knew
And that we'd have to see it through.
Your decisions are but trivial now,
For I am already lodged in this crevice of Hell
And confusion over such simple things.
As soft kisses and hard blood diamond rings.
I am too strong for your soft kisses;
And I am too soft for your hard rings.
If you love the man stay with him;
If he drives you mad just leave him.
Just leave him, just such a simple thing.
What constitutes good reason?
How complex must be the issue,
For me to simply say goodbye
To the only body ever loved, touched,
Kissed, tainted, rocked, hit and vociferated by me.
By me, my dear,
And please just see I have no fear,
Of any loneliness or yearning without you,
For I can take care of those needs with my own hands,
But the simplest thing of them all,
Is that without you to take off these dark hose of mine
I will be bored and adrift with no fire to keep me alive.
My life is ablaze and these mixed emotions
Are only a pointless fly distracting me from my
Real life at hand,
Where work is slow and these sunny love days
Will soon turn to snow.

This is amazing. It is worded beautifully. The flow is smooth. The imagery is depicted perfectedly. I could actually see it.

I loved the imagery in this. Also the raw emotion, I could feel the frustration in this. Having to sit and watch, unable to do anything.

Thank you for the comment, sorry I didn't use color imagery like you suggested, I'm not very good with physical descriptions. Thanks for the awesome paintings as well.
