Those two lines were definitely my favorites. Such amazing imagery to hook the reader and give us all a clear picture of how this girl is viewed in society. It bothers me how people can just pass judgment and give everyone a label without ever even getting to know those people.

everyone thinks that I'm like that...funny really, as I lost my virginity at seventeen, slept with that particular guy a fair amount but was dating him and had been for a year and only just had sex for the second time a few weeks ago and I'm nearly nineteen. Ah well, rumours are wreck havoc, I used to care but not anymore, those who know me know it's not true and I'm sure you're not this way either.

And yah it occasionally gets to me (though this piece isn't really about me, just what I could see myself being if circumstances were different), but I tend to just ignore the rumors too. I'm a virgin, not a whore *at all*, and everyone I really care about knows that.
