Pollution, Please... Just go

You've been taking
My time and my honey
Without building me up in return,
Roll again dear.

I've my own plans
In them you're not here,
The only things you're taking
From me now,
Are these words and
Your apathy away.

Away like a dove on the wind,
And be gone with you.
Be gone with this love that still,
Still and evermore burns within my heaving chest,
As I'm dying for breath,
And your lying for your own cruel institution,
And your childish resolutions.

So please... just go,
Away like a dove
And leave me to breathe
The clean air outside your pollution.

these boots were made for walkin - wooooh.

the last two lines hit hard. their imagery kind of clinches the feelings of the entire piece - because one can imagine that since you're longing to get outside of a polluted place, you are covered in black smoke and gasping for air, fresh air...anyway i ramble too much but - thanks for letting me know about bluejays ;-)

No worries, I'm a classical rambler myself Thanks for the comment, I found your thing on cardinals with that random find thing and I thought it was neat. Because everyone thinks I'm crazy for stopping and swerving a bit for birds but I hit the one and it's pretty traumatizing

Wow, you sure did show him where the door was. I hope he got a clue from it, but probably not.

    Good Job

It was in one of my more manic moods. I give the boy Hell but he takes it and then gives it back. I suppose we might settle a bit one day, but until then we're constantly on the brink of together and apart. Generally when presented with these he just tells me I'm an idiot and I'll probably change my mind in the morning. He doesn't take any clues. He just insists that we'll always be together despite our hating everything the other does, and he's probably right.
