Angelic Teddeh Bear

 

 

 

 

 

Angelic smothered fur

darkened and rough

such imperial talents

of making someone tough

 

Chocolaty delicious

draped with such perfection

patted and so playful

the object of my affection

 

Mysterious and defensive

when others let me down

you are the reason

I no longer frown

 

I keep you close

nestled in my heart

hoping you wont leave

and we'll never be apart

 

Playfully you nuzzle

upon my silenced ears

taking away what hurts

and all of my fears

 

I love you so much

that no one will understand

no matter the distance between us

you will always be my friend

Dedicated to my very close friend ... my Teddeh ... Jordan ... who has been there for me through thick and thin and will always be my boo bear! I LOVE YOU HUNNY!

    Haha this poem kind of reminded me of my little stuffed dog I had when I was a kid.
    Cos whenever I had nightmares or something in my dreams I would just grap the stuffed dog and like attack monsters with it and the monsters would go away.
    I was like two or three years old at the time but I still remember.

    Anyways I still sleep with my blankets i had when I was first born at the hospital.
    There really vaulable to me since my mom passed away it makes me feel connected to her.

    As for the poem it was a cute way to express your love for something so sentimental to you. This was beautiful and I enjoyed reading this.

    I loved this.

    the last word of this poem made me laugh...that is because if we suppose to consider angelic's teddeh bear as your someone's special, I know that if he/she is going to read it would be deeply touched in the first part, yet in the end, it could be disgusting to his/her part....hehehe.....however, the poem is a very nice gift for a true friend....

    Ode to a teddy, I've never understood (till now) a woman's fascination with their stuffed animals. This poem helped me find a higher meaning to that love. May your teddeh live long and prosper, with your imagination he will never perish.

    This is a beautiful testiment of a childhood toy, i have a bear that my boyfriend gave me that hes had since childhood, and this poem made me go grab her up and give her a squeeze. Its great that you have such a precious bear.
