Feminine Landscape

Missing image

Spotlight moved
with the dips and
rose with the hills of
the pastel landscape.

Pearls breathed with the
subtle warmth of her skin
caressed her neck,
and trickled into the
slender valley.

Yet, she kept her face

hidden with her insecurities

and with closed eyes

she held her breath

and waited

for the camera to flash.

Actually this is excellent poetry and very well done.
Unfortunately the rules clearly state rhyming poetry only.

Thanks. Ok, but where? I can't see that, other wise I wouldn't have wasted your time.

I loved it. I loved the word choice, like "pearls breathed through the subtle warmth of her skin." I saw it as something at first, and I did read more into it. A scary story popped into my head. I don't know if that was supposed to happen but it did! anyways, good job on the poem. It was really captivating and profound.

    sincerely,
