Sunlight on my aching skin,
soothing my pains away
with a lovers hands.
Sweet warmth lingers,
even in the moonlit night
where shadows play.
In my mind, the dreams are there,
waiting for me to capture them
and make them real.
Your face tarries a while,
smiling at my foolishness
loving my quirks.
"Don't stay here my love,
forever is waiting for you,
embrace it, I'll always be here."
Tear drops slip down,
one more time for your memory
and my heart beats again.
