An eye peeking through with ruby red hair
Can he see me does he dare?
Every day I see him peeking through
Will he ever declare his love true?
A heart shaped hole in my fence made by him
Did he make it upon a foolish whim?
Once he wrote a letter and sealed it with gold
To his advances, i'd completely fold
Weak at the knees with a thump thump in my heart
His love has hit, as though cupids dart
I sit and I watch through the hole in the wall
Waiting for my Romeo to finally make his call

A question still barely answered throughout time, "how do you make the one you desire, desire you?" great concept, well constructed despite the brevity of the piece.

Wonderful rhyme, the whole poem flowed super well. I enjoyed it very much, good luck in the contest.
