I really miss seeing your face.
I can't fall asleep without hearing you,
I really miss hearing your voice.
What am I supposed to do,
Now that I've let you slip away?
Did I make the right choice,
Or am I going to regret this everyday?
You were my everything this summer,
The one who kept me happy.
I've never been so high before;
You were my love, my baby.
I can't grasp why school made everything so different,
Why everything seemed to fall apart.
And I guess I'll just never understand
Why you still have my heart.
All I know is I'm having trouble writing now,
I'm lost, lonely, and don't know what to do.
Sure, I'll move on, I'll find someone else...
It's just hard not to miss you.

Just reminiscing due to looking back through some old summer pictures to make a video...dealing with the aftermath of my recent break-up, but I know I'll be ok. I'm just bad at letting go sometimes, and I still end up hanging on regardless. Ehh, I'll figure it out...hope you liked the poem that came from it, though!

Very deep and easy-to-relate-to poem. It had a very good rhythm and i liked all of it even though some of the rhyming seemed a LITTLE forced. still, i liked it all anyway
