Torn beneath a bitter sky...
So many doors,
Just one life.
How can I know what is real?
I'm so desperatly lost
I cannot feel...
Your eyes,
The broken ground.
The sky,
Life without sound.
Your goodbye,
Glass slippers and roses.
Walk to the back of my portrait...
Let the shadows move your feet,
Further away from me.
From the path that you walked,
I am finally saved,
New things arise
From the depths of your grave...
They cry out to me,
Such
A simple beauty.

This is well written and worded. I see it as the beauty of hope...finally letting go of something, someone who was hurting (her) and finding the beauty of a new life. Really good!
Best of luck! -
Beautiful!
Emotional and raw. A fantastic write. Thank you for your expressive entry and best of luck in my contest.
