Abortion

She reaches out for a mother,
But sadly, no affection is returned,
She just wants someone to care,
But all she gets is spurned.

She lies in the womb,
Without a choice,
The choice is her mothers,
Only she can give her child a voice.

The mother fails to listen
To her baby's cry,
So the child is left to wonder,
Why her mother lets her die.

Abortion is another name for murder,
And murder is for the wild,
It did not make her "unpregnant",
But the mother of a dead child.

    I totally agree with you. It's a child not a choice, and we shouldn't be allowed to take human life, unless necessary.

    this is so sad and yes im against it also yes a person who does this is a mother left wit a dead child my doctor told me my daughter was goin to swell up at birth and die and told me to go to another room to get 1 done i looked at him n told him kiss my ass what ever happens is whats ment to be and guess what she will be 4 on wed she so beautiful

    Wow!! You not only portray your opinion well, but you also manage to draw the reader in. I completely one hundred percent agree that abortion is murder. The last stanza was great as well. Thanks for sharing this!

    oh my god, this poem, it is so sad, yet it was wonderful. the message in this, a fantastic one. i am against abortion. i also believe it is murder and that the baby did not ask to be made.

    that is my absolute favorite part. so much depth and meaning held in this. you have done an amazing job at writing this. loved it!
