My friend’s rancho has a bull
named, quite simply “El Toro.”
On my last visit to see my amigo,
Toro took on a tremendous task.
One day he mounted more than three
hundred cows. That is endurance!
El Toro stands some 14 hands tall,
could intimidate any horse and rider.
My friend, the Jefe of El Rancho
Del Toros, would never sell this bull!
To this day, El Toro has fathered
nearly three thousand fine toros.
This bloodline is called resistencia,
a line so powerful, it is unequalled.
My friend’s rancho has a bull
that should be named “Endurance!”

Author notes
The name of this contest immediately inspired me to write about champion Mexican bulls, where's my mind, anyhow?

That's some bull there... I'm not sure when he'd have energy for anything else. Sheesh.
