so beautiful this phantom
who sits before my eyes
one moment filled with innocence
the next a sinful surprise
but between these two disparate halves
something different grows
and whether she is cruel or kind
few will truly know
an oddity amongst us
who cannot seem to find
the one true inhabitant
of her new and shifting mind.

meh, first poem i've written in about 5 months, abnormally short but I wanted it short and sweet.
