Cruel End

Missing image
An old man sits quietly,
with a confused gaze
upon monochrome fields
of muddled thoughts.
As another memory floats away
on old ages breeze.

Author notes

This pic immediately made me think of my father, suffering from Alzheimers.

    Beautiful.

You couldnt have penned a better response to this prompt...I grew up in a house with my great grandmother who was suffering from alzheimers too, we were very close....I read this several times.....your 6 short lines of lost memories brought back an ironic wave of my own.

    Great write.

    Jamie

yes, what you've written certainly goes with this image...when I first saw this photo I thought of the balloons as days passing away. Seems we were both on the same wave....Thank you for entering. You know I appreciate it Love, Lane
