So many already
Have given up
I sit and ponder
Holding on to the end
Comtemplating lifes struggles
Sezzing each moment
Watching for the answers
To reach out or let go
Thoughts too heavy
To float above the strife
I cling to the bottom
Unable to handle falling deeper
Release the life left inside
Hang on to what I have
Or watch it pile on top of me
I can't decide I continue on lost

a very very good entry...just a suggestion tho: the last line is kind of confusing. "I can't decide - I continue on lost." Other than that little tweek, you've written a powerful piece and I'm proud you entered. Love, Lane

Writing is excellent for the prompt. It also shows the conflict of hope, wanting it, having it, wondering on it, and afraid to hold onto it. Hold on! It is worth it. Good luck in the contest.
