look at the days of our lives
cast before us like fields of unsewn corn
it's so simple
laid before us
this hurried schedule of life
grow now
so you can be harvested later

I love the philosophical edge this has. The metaphor of human life through crop life is original. I enjoy short poetry mostly because it allows you to say so much in so few words, just as you did effectively here. Well done.
