Rachel

Grazes in a sea of green
The sun reflects big black eyes

Often is what troubles seem
Beast lets out his faint cry

A lift of his little white head
and in seconds, he could be dead

Innocence does not pertain
In this iminent situation

Of that... I am certain
Now an unforgivable confrontation

Author notes

Rachel: Is of Hebrew backrgounds, means - Innocent Lamb

I also thought I'd give this a twist of humor... enjoy?

    Cool

First off, Rachel is one of my favorite names! I love how you chose to take it and write the poem about the innocent lamb. It was very creative and well done! Thumbs up!
