Malcolm and Candice (light-hearted prose)

Missing image

Malcolm, congratulating himself on the comfiest bed of the night curled up to dream about his next cheese venture.

It had barely been five minutes, when he was awoken by the feeling of motion sickness and a great whooshing sound.

Opening his eyes, he just caught a glimpse of Candice with her naughtiest paw
resting on the stick attached to his bed. Malcolm tumbled head first into a pile of clothes.

Hearing Candice purring in delight at her latest trick, Malcolm, still in shock from his flying experience, settled down amongst the colourful cloth and swore to be more careful where he takes his naps.

Author notes

Next chapter will involve Malcolm having a churning time in the washing machine no doubt.

This is a very charming little poem...I really believe you should continue with the lives of Malcolm and Candice!

You never know...years from now children all over the world could be getting read the story of Malcolm and Candice by their parents before they go off to sleep!

    Very cute!

You are very creative and well advanced in thought process for your age. However, this is not so much a poem as it is a story. Adding line breaks does not make it a poem. Yet, the story was very interesting and I enjoyed it. Just be careful that it reads as a poem. Needless to say it is to my liking and thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!

Thanks. It's supposed to be prose, but yeah, this is only a bit of fun, nothing serious.
I like how you say "for your age" lol you're the same age as me, no?
      Take care.
